Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Doonx, LLC (“DoonX”, “we”, “us” or “our”) handles personal information when you visit doonx.com, request a quotation, place an order or communicate with us.

1. WHO WE ARE

This Policy covers individual customers and people acting for businesses, including employees and purchasing representatives.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you provide. This includes your name, company, job-related contact details, email, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses, account details and communication preferences.

Enquiries and transactions. We collect quotation requests, specifications, drawings, uploaded files, purchase orders, invoices, order history, delivery records, payment references and correspondence needed to handle the transaction or support request. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry or order.

Payment information. Payment providers, including Airwallex or PayPal where you select those methods, process information needed to complete and verify payments. We receive transaction status, references and related billing or verification information. Payment providers explain their own processing in their privacy notices.

Website and device information. We collect information such as IP address, browser and device type, referring pages, pages viewed, interactions and cookie or similar identifiers. The information collected by optional analytics and advertising tools depends on your choices and the relevant settings.

Information comes from you, your interactions with our website and communications, and service providers involved in payments, delivery, enquiries or customer management. A business may also provide details of its purchasing or receiving contacts.

3. HOW AND WHY WE USE INFORMATION

We use relevant information to:

  • Answer enquiries, prepare quotations and clarify technical requirements.
  • Accept orders, manage payment, coordinate production and arrange delivery.
  • Provide order updates, customer support, returns and complaint handling.
  • Maintain customer relationships and records of agreed specifications and transactions.
  • Send permitted marketing communications and manage subscriptions.
  • Understand website use and measure advertising effectiveness, subject to applicable choices.
  • Protect accounts and transactions, investigate suspected fraud and maintain security.
  • Meet accounting, tax and other legal obligations and handle disputes.

Where a legal basis is required, we rely on performance of a contract or requested pre-contract steps, legal obligations, consent, or legitimate business interests where permitted. Those interests include managing business relationships, responding to enquiries, improving services and preventing fraud, balanced against individuals' rights.

Where consent is required for marketing or optional tracking, we request it. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

4. SERVICE PROVIDERS AND SHARING

We use the following services in connection with our operations. The information involved depends on the function and your interaction with us.

Payment providers receive information necessary for payments and verification. Carriers, logistics providers and relevant production partners receive information necessary to fulfil the order. Professional advisers may receive information needed for accounting, legal or related services.

We limit disclosures to what is appropriate for the service or purpose. Providers may process information under our instructions or, for particular activities, under their own responsibilities and privacy policies.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, valid legal process or a necessary and lawful response to fraud, disputes or security incidents.

Advertising disclosures can qualify as “sharing”, “sale” or “targeted advertising” under certain privacy laws, even without a cash payment. Applicable choices are described below.

5. COOKIES, ANALYTICS AND ADVERTISING

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functions, preferences, analytics and advertising.

Essential technologies support functions such as checkout, security and remembering privacy choices. Rejecting optional tracking does not necessarily disable these essential functions.

Google Analytics helps us understand visits and interactions. Google Ads helps measure campaign results and may support remarketing where enabled and permitted. These services can receive identifiers, page or interaction details and other technical information.

You can accept or reject non-essential tracking through our website's Cookie consent controls. Where applicable law requires consent, optional analytics or advertising tracking is subject to that consent. Contact us if you need help changing an existing choice.

Browser settings may also let you remove or block cookies. Choices may need to be repeated on another browser or device. Blocking essential cookies may affect website features.

Google explains its processing and available controls in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can also review Google's advertising settings. These settings complement the choices on our website.

6. EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING

We use Gmail, HubSpot and Customer.io for customer communications according to their respective functions. Messages may include requested quotations, order updates, service notices and permitted promotional emails.

You can unsubscribe from marketing using the unsubscribe option in a promotional email or by contacting support@doonx.com. Opting out of marketing does not stop messages needed to handle an enquiry, order, payment, delivery or legal matter.

We may keep limited preference information to respect your unsubscribe request.

7. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING

Our China-based team accesses customer information to manage enquiries, production, orders and support. Information may also be processed or stored in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Protection rules may differ from those in your country.

International transfers are subject to safeguards required by applicable data protection law. Depending on the transfer, these may include an applicable adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful mechanism.

You may contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data. Our U.S. registration does not remove any applicable protections governing international processing.

8. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION

Retention depends on the purpose, the information and applicable obligations. Relevant factors include the duration of the customer relationship, order fulfilment, accounting requirements, claim periods, security needs and outstanding disputes.

We do not apply one fixed retention period to every category. Information should be deleted or anonymised when no longer needed, subject to lawful retention requirements. Backup copies may remain protected until removed through the applicable backup cycle.

Marketing preferences and unsubscribe records may be kept as needed to respect your choices.

9. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to:

  • Obtain access to information and details about its use and disclosure.
  • Correct inaccurate information or request deletion.
  • Receive a portable copy of certain information.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
  • Opt out of applicable sale, sharing or targeted advertising.
  • Appeal a decision about a privacy request where that right applies.
  • Complain to the relevant data protection authority.

Use our Cookie controls for optional tracking and the unsubscribe option for marketing. For other requests, email support@doonx.com with enough detail to identify the records and the right you wish to exercise.

We may reasonably verify identity or an agent's authority before responding. We respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any lawful limitation or refusal. Some records may need to be retained despite a deletion request, for example to meet accounting obligations or resolve a dispute.

Where applicable law recognises browser-based opt-out signals, those signals must be respected as required by that law. Contact us if a privacy choice does not appear to work as expected. Exercising a protected right will not result in unlawful discrimination.

10. SECURITY

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information, with access limited according to business need. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Keep account credentials confidential and contact us promptly about suspected misuse of your account or information. Please do not send complete payment-card credentials in ordinary email correspondence.

11. CHILDREN AND EXTERNAL SERVICES

Our website and products are intended for industrial and commercial purchasing, rather than use by children. If you believe a child has provided information inappropriately, contact us so we can assess and address it under applicable law.

External websites and services have their own privacy practices. Review the relevant provider's notice when using its services or leaving our website.

12. UPDATES AND CONTACT

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our services, processing or legal requirements. The date above identifies the latest version. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent for a new use.
