Durostone® Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic Sheet
Durostone® glass-reinforced epoxy resin natural is typically a deep gray to black color. While also being a laminated FRP composite, it distinguishes itself from FR-4 and G10 through its use of glass fiber mat and high-temp specialty epoxy resin. Various PCB soldering fixtures and jigs are made from Durostone, primarily because it can withstand much higher temperatures than FR-4, rendering it an outstanding insulator.
Apart from electrical insulation, Durostone have high strength and durability, machinability, resistance to flame, heat, arcing, alkaline solutions, and static accumulation.
